About the Event
Join award-winning family musician and teaching artist Charity Kahn (of "Charity and the JAMband") for a highly interactive, joyful, playful and completely unique musical experience that will inspire your children (and you!) to sing, dance, stretch, breathe and imagine. Charity weaves music, movement and mindfulness into a 45-minute experience integrating melody, rhythm and rhyme with themes like kindness, peace, love, and celebration of all life. Other side benefits: early literacy, sensory motor integration, healthy brain development, social emotional learning, laughter, bonding and fun. Come join the JAM! This concert is in conjunction with San Mateo County Library's celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month. Song, dance, joy and mindfulness are all wonderful supports for mental health for young and old! Here's a listing of all shows I'm doing in May as part of this program:
