What it is:
We know how hard it is to manifest any grown-up time when you're parenting young children, so here's an idea...drop off your kids at JAMspace (1649 Taraval, between 26th and 27th Aves.) for an evening of singing, dancing, crafting, snacking*, game-playing, reading and chilling out while you go relax at a movie or go out to dinner. JAMspace is chock full of wonderful games, crafts, building blocks, dress-up scarves, instruments, good books and lots of love, too. Bring them in their PJ's and call it JAMmy Night!
*FoodNote: we will provide a yummy, healthy, substantial organic snack, but please feed the kids dinner before you drop them off.
Who's guiding it?
JAMmy Night is guided by Charity for up to 8 kids, with help from another caregiver if more than 8 kids register.
Who can come:
Children aged 4-10. As a prerequisite, at least one child in your family must have attended a JAMcamp, a Jamboodas class session, or a minimum of 2 JAMband concerts or solo JAM shows. Some exceptions apply; email Charity with questions.
When it's happening:
Next one: Saturday, October 17, 5:30-8:30pm. Or email charity to request one!
What it costs:
$40 per child, $20 for each additional sibling
Note: In order to discourage late pick-up, we tack on a $2/minute late charge (in other words, PLEASE respect our time and your kids' bedtimes, and arrive for pick-up at 8:30 sharp!)
Special perk:
You will receive 10% off your meal at the new Parkside Tavern, just a couple blocks away, when you have dinner there while your kids are at JAMmy Night. Reservations recommended.
