Yoga with Jeanie Garden
The fabulous Jeanie Garden will be teaching several classes at JAMspace. Jeanie is a deeply caring and skilled yoga instructor. She wants to help you find your yoga gait with ease, and will go to great lengths to help you develop trust in your unique body. Her authentic style of yoga will bring awareness that yoga is not just about the poses on the mat, but what those poses bring to your life! Expect to bend, strengthen, and be challenged in positive ways. Expect to enjoy your yoga practice and yourself! More about Jeanie...

More than your average YOGA class
Beginning 6/3/2010 A different kind of yoga class is starting every Thursday night 6:30 -8:30 at JAMspace in the Outer Sunset 1649 Taraval (at 27th st., right next to the Iyengar Yoga Institute).

Whether you are a beginner or serious practitioner this class will give you tools to transform your life, and your entire body! This is for those that want more than the average yoga class. It is a sustainable 2 hour class, using many styles of yoga and therapuetic modalities that you don't get in a normal yoga class.

Class starts with a Gentle Vinyasa Flow, carefully guided inversions, breathing techniques for mental release, and core strengthening for whole body support. The second half blends Iyengar techniques -to resolve alignment issues, and incorporates Physical Therapy and Pilates -to strengthen weak areas, and release tight areas. Last, it ends in restorative poses for the complete relaxation.

My name is Jeanie I've been teaching for 11 years, and I am trained and certified in a variety of traditions. Feel free to contact me at 415-596-7898, email me here, or go to the ABOUT page on my website.
