What is it?
JAMband songs and dances, creative movement, dramatic play, percussion jams, scarf dancing, yoga, mindfulness and lots of love!
Why do it?
These kids are really on the move, and need to jump, shake, shimmy, twirl, sway, rock, stomp, bang on things, laugh, and hug and be hugged in order for their brains and hearts to grow strong and wise. And everybody benefits when the grown-ups join in on the fun!
Who leads it? Lead by Charity Kahn, songwriter, performer, musician, leader of Charity and the JAMband, mother, and JAM founder.
Who joins in? Kids aged 0-4 and a parent/caregiver.
When is it? SEVEN-WEEK SESSION on FRIDAYS (March 16 - May 11; NO CLASS March 30 and April 13). 9:30AM or 10:30AM.

What is it?
Take it to the next level! Join Charity for a music-dance-drama experience that builds on the ideas, concepts and songs from our regular JAMboodas classes, but with an added emphasis on dramatic play, storytelling, song creation and improvisation. This class is for those kids who have been through an early childhood music and movement program and are ready for the next creative challenge. We'll have a performance for families on the last day of class!
Why do it?
If play is the work of childhood, then your kids will thoroughly enjoy the job of coming to this class. We provide the environment and the conditions for their innate brilliance and creativity to thrive, shine and be mirrored. With a little direction, kids learn to combine and communicate their ideas, and collaborate on in-the-moment pretend-play of their own creation.

Who joins in? Kids aged 4-5 (this is a drop-off class)
When is it?

What it is:
JAMband songs and dances, singing practice, scarf dancing, yoga, arts&crafts, music-inspired projects, song-writing, down time. Weeklong and daylong camps throughout the year.
Why do it:
Kids are always thirsty for places to express their magic and intelligence. Singing, dancing, playing and "making stuff up" feeds this part of them like nothing else. The JAM curriculum provides a broad and deep foundation for our explorations. Week-long camps culminate in a performance of our own creation.

Who joins in? Kids aged 5-8 (drop-off)

What it is:
Interactive JAM Concert and Party Favors with a Purpose, followed by 15% off an awesome pizza-party meal across the Street at local family-friendly favorite, Eagle Pizzeria (you can even bring in your own cake and decorations!)
Why do it:
So the party kids have an enriched activity to entertain them; so you can give families CDs of quality music as party favors rather than bags of sugar and little plastic things that so often end up in the trash or garage-sale box soon afterwards; so you don't have to clean your house after the party.
How many can come:
Max size for concert: 50 people. Drop-off option available for concert for ages 5 and over only (maximum of 12 kids for drop-off option).
